Professional sports facilities are among the most demanding branded environment projects we take on. The Allen Americans Hockey organization came to us needing a complete visual overhaul: not just new graphics, but a cohesive environment that would energize players, impress scouts, and create a memorable experience for fans visiting the pro shop and arena.
The Scope: Three Zones, One Brand
The project covered three distinct zones: the player locker room and training areas, the arena concourse and entry graphics, and the pro shop retail environment. Each zone had different surface types, different audiences, and different functional requirements, but all had to feel like one unified brand.
Zone 1: Player Locker Room and Training Areas
The locker room is where players spend hours before and after every game. The environment needed to be motivating, durable, and easy to maintain. We specified Avery Dennison MPI 1005 for the wall graphics, a product that handles the humidity and temperature swings of a locker room environment, and 3M DI-NOC for the locker faces and equipment storage panels.

- Floor graphics in the weight room and training corridor
Zone 2: Arena Concourse and Entry
The concourse graphics needed to handle foot traffic, cleaning chemicals, and the occasional spilled beverage. We used a laminated, scuff-resistant overlaminate on all high-traffic surfaces and specified 3M IJ180C-10 for the large-format wall graphics, a product rated for high-humidity interior environments.
Zone 3: Pro Shop Retail Environment
The pro shop required a retail-quality branded environment: clean, professional, and designed to move merchandise. We created a full wall mural behind the main display, custom-cut vinyl for the display cases, and frosted glass film on the interior partitions.
Timeline and Logistics
The entire project was completed during the off-season in a 12-day window. We worked in parallel across all three zones with separate crews, coordinating daily to ensure the brand system stayed consistent across every surface.
