Frequently Asked Questions
Questions about our process, materials, or pricing? We have answered the most common ones below. If you don't see what you're looking for, reach out. We're happy to help.
Process & Timeline
We begin with a complimentary consultation, either on-site or virtual, to understand your goals, review the space, and discuss design direction. From there, we develop a detailed proposal with scope, materials, and timeline. Once approved, our design team produces artwork for your review. After sign-off, we schedule installation at a time that minimizes disruption to your operations.
Timelines vary by scope. A single-room wall wrap or window film installation can be completed in one to two days. Larger facility rebrands or multi-location projects typically run two to six weeks from design approval to final installation. We provide a detailed schedule at the proposal stage so you always know what to expect.
Absolutely. We regularly schedule installations during evenings, weekends, or phased shifts to keep your team productive. Just let us know your operational constraints and we will build the schedule around them.
Yes. Every project includes a digital proof stage. For larger environments, we can also produce physical samples or scaled mockups so you can evaluate colors, textures, and finishes in your actual space before committing to full production.
Materials & Durability
We work with premium cast vinyl films and specialty wall coverings from leading manufacturers including 3M, Avery Dennison, and Drytac. Material selection depends on the surface type, desired finish (matte, gloss, satin, textured), and longevity requirements. All materials are commercial-grade and rated for interior use.
Quality architectural window films typically last 10 to 15 years under normal conditions. Decorative and frosted films have similar lifespans. Exterior-facing films may have slightly shorter warranties depending on sun exposure. We only install films backed by manufacturer warranties and can provide documentation on request.
Yes. All materials we install meet commercial indoor air quality standards and are low-VOC. We use adhesives and laminates that comply with GREENGUARD and similar certifications where applicable. Your space is safe to occupy during and immediately after installation.
Yes. Most of our installations are designed for clean removal without damaging the underlying surface. This makes it straightforward to refresh branding, update messaging, or prepare a space for a new tenant. We can advise on expected removal costs at the time of installation.
Scope & Services
We offer full in-house design services. Our team can develop concepts from scratch based on your brand guidelines, or we can work with artwork provided by your agency or internal team. Either way, we handle all pre-press production and file preparation for print.
Yes. We work from your brand guidelines and use calibrated print systems to match Pantone, CMYK, and RGB values as closely as possible on the chosen substrate. For critical brand color matches, we recommend a physical sample approval before full production.
Yes. Exterior building wraps are one of our core services. We handle permitting coordination, surface preparation, and installation using materials rated for outdoor UV and weather exposure. We serve commercial properties of all sizes across North Texas and Southern Oklahoma, from Durant to Fort Worth.
We work with projects of all sizes, from a single frosted glass panel to a full multi-floor facility rebrand. There is no formal minimum. We are happy to discuss your scope and provide an honest recommendation on whether our services are the right fit.
Yes. Architectural Wraps is a division of Car Wrap City, which has been serving North Texas and Oklahoma since 2009. We share the same installation team, materials partners, and quality standards. Architectural Wraps focuses specifically on commercial facility graphics, while Car Wrap City also handles vehicle and fleet wraps.
Pricing & Quotes
The easiest way is to contact us through our website or call 877-819-7277. We will schedule a brief consultation to understand your project, then provide a detailed written proposal. There is no charge for the consultation or the quote.
Pricing depends on the square footage of the installation area, material selection, complexity of the design, surface preparation requirements, and installation logistics (access, height, phasing). We provide itemized proposals so you can see exactly what you are paying for.
Yes. We typically require a 50% deposit to begin design and production, with the balance due upon completion. For larger projects, we can discuss a phased payment schedule. All terms are outlined clearly in the project agreement.
Warranty & Longevity
Yes. All of our installations are backed by both a manufacturer material warranty and our own workmanship guarantee. Window films typically carry manufacturer warranties of 10 to 15 years. Wall wraps and vinyl graphics are warranted for 3 to 7 years depending on the material and environment. We provide written warranty documentation with every completed project so you have a clear record of coverage.
Manufacturer warranties cover material defects such as delamination, significant color fade, bubbling, and adhesive failure under normal conditions. Our workmanship guarantee covers installation defects that arise from the installation process itself, including edge lifting, seam separation, or alignment issues. Damage caused by improper cleaning, physical abuse, or unauthorized removal is not covered.
For wall wraps and vinyl graphics, clean with a soft damp cloth and a mild, non-abrasive cleaner. Avoid high-pressure washing, harsh solvents, or abrasive scrubbing pads. For window films, wait at least 30 days after installation before cleaning to allow the adhesive to fully cure, then clean with a soft cloth and a non-ammonia glass cleaner. We provide a care guide with every installation.
Most of our installations are designed for panel-level repair. If a section is damaged from an accident, vandalism, or normal wear, we can typically replace just the affected panel rather than the entire installation. We retain your print files so reprinting a matching replacement is straightforward. Contact us and we will assess the damage and provide a repair quote.
Surface Preparation
Yes. Surface preparation is one of the most important factors in a long-lasting installation. Surfaces must be clean, dry, and free of dust, grease, wax, and loose paint. For new drywall, the surface should be fully primed and painted with at least two coats of a quality latex paint, then allowed to cure for a minimum of 30 days before vinyl application. We assess surface condition during our pre-installation site visit and will advise you on any preparation required.
Graphics can be applied over most painted surfaces in good condition. The paint must be fully adhered, with no peeling, flaking, or chalking. Flat or matte paints can sometimes cause adhesion issues; we recommend a satin or eggshell finish for best results. Existing wallpaper should generally be removed before installation, as the seams and texture can telegraph through the graphic and the adhesive bond may be compromised.
Light textures such as orange peel or light knockdown can often be wrapped successfully using conformable cast vinyl films. Heavy textures like skip trowel, popcorn, or rough brick are more challenging: the graphic may not fully conform to the peaks and valleys, which can affect both appearance and adhesion. We evaluate textured surfaces on a case-by-case basis and will recommend the best approach, which may include a skim coat to smooth the surface first.
We can perform light surface cleaning and minor prep work as part of our installation process. For surfaces that require significant repair, such as patching, skim coating, repainting, or wallpaper removal, we recommend coordinating with your facility maintenance team or a painting contractor in advance. We will clearly communicate any prep requirements in your project proposal so there are no surprises on installation day.
